Do you know much about metal porch boxes used for milk home delivery? I have an old one that appears to be lined with an insulating material but I can't tell what the material is. My concern is that it might be asbestos. Any idea if asbestos was ever used for such purposes? Do you know of other collectors who might be up on milk boxes and could answer? Thanks in advance for anything you can offer.
